Kim Swift, the visionary mind behind portal, has announced her next game, Soul Fjord. The game will be exclusive to the Android powered Ouya console.

Swift and Airtight Studios have been working on the game since her departure from Valve in 2009, where she worked on popular titles like Left for Dead 1 & 2, as well as the original Portal.

Swift described Soul Fjord as randomly generated dungeon crawler that features music from the 1970’s and Norse mythology. Sounds odd doesn’t it? Apparently the game is set in an alternate reality where the soul music of the 70’s integrated with Norse Mythology. In the game, players will take control of Magnus Jones, a dead warrior who has been denied entrance into Valhalla. Jones must fight his way to the World Tree in order to gain entrance into Valhalla and to prove that he is the “baddest Viking in town.”

The Ouya will release to the public on June 4th for $99 through Amazon, Target, Best Buy, Gamestop, GAME, and the Ouya Online Store. Once you get your hands on the system you can download all the Android powered games you want!
