CD Projekt Red’s anticipated RPG Cyberpunk 2077 will very likely see release on both next generation consoles from Microsoft and Sony.

“It most probably will be,” business development manager Rafal Jaki told Polygon in an interview. “But we can’t confirm or deny because it’s too early for that.”

Cyberpunk 2077 is currently confirmed for PC only.

Jaki also confirmed that CD Projekt Red’s resources are currently divided, with the studio’s 210 employees spread across three sectors; the “Red” team, consisting of over 100 of said employees, are dedicated to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the smaller “Black” team is working on Cyberpunk 2077 and finally a third team in charge of the engine to be used to run both titles.

According to Jaki progress on 2077 is moving in a positive direction and is impressed with the work down so far. “It is going really, really well and the team is growing and the development… well, I don’t want to brag or anything, but really the stuff they’ve come up with is mind-blowing.”
