Santa Monica Studios has been a relatively quiet place recently. The last we heard, they had to cancel one of their in progress projects, and we all know they didn’t show off a new God of War at E3 this year. What we do know is that they are working on a pretty cryptic title called Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture. We saw a teaser trailer for the game at E3 2013, but the game was surprisingly absent from Sony’s stage this year.

Luckily, we only had to wait a few days after the main stage show to get a new teaser for the game.

We still don’t know much about the game itself, or any of the characters in the game, if there are any. All we know is that everybody’s gone, and apparently they all went to the Rapture. By this logic, there are probably at least a few people still left on Earth, and if logic follows, the game will probably have something to do with either surviving in a post-Rapture world, or enduring the years of torment after the Rapture that are described by the Bible.

This is all speculation, but speculation is really all we have to go on at the moment.

Are you intrigued by Santa Monica Studios’ new title?
