While its been quite the struggle for the launch of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, the developers at 343 Industries have heard all of our woes and can understand our frustrations. As a result we will be seeing Halo 3: ODST and an additional map for Halo 2 Anniversary.

As apart of an apology, Microsoft and 343 are giving players who’ve played the game between November 11th and December 19th one free month of Xbox Live, an exclusive in-game nameplate and in-game avatar. On top of that is the full campaign of Halo 3: ODST and Relic map for Halo 2 Anniversary. The campaign will be running 60 fps and at 1080p. Currently there are no plans to add the Firefight mode to the mix for ODST. But both of these items are expected to ship some time this spring.
