In 2014 a small gaming company, Krillbite Studios, put out a game for the PC called Among The Sleep. A horror game that takes place in the first person viewof a small child. The game became so popular it was announced today that it would make its way on to PlayStation 4. Here is the original trailer if you aren’t familiar with Among The Sleep.

Among the Sleep is a psychological horror game where you play as a two year old child. Kristina Holveorsen,  the Chief of Marketing for Krillbite Studios, said, “You will experience the world through the eyes of a toddler with a vivid imagination. We wanted to create an atmospheric horror game with an eerie feeling of helplessness.”

There was a lot of technical stuff the little studio had to go through to make this a reality, Holverson said that they encountered a lot of weird and funny bugs they needed to fix to bring this game to the PS4. They saw “chairs floating and doing 360s as you grabbed them, and apples flying hundreds of kilometres an hour”. As funny as they thought it was back then making this game in school, now the game coming to a major console they had to put a lot of work into to fix those bugs.

Among The Sleep will be coming to PlayStation 4 on December 10th. Check out all the new upgrades on this small indie game and don’t forget your blankie! Stay Tuned to Gamer Assault Weekly for all your gaming needs

I have worked hard to become the COO here at GAW and I love it. I write and stream here and I couldn't be happier. I once had a show that I produced, wrote, and co-hosted called the Wide World of Games. I also co-host a podcast called Party Up! I'm an Action-Adventurer, platformer, RPGer, and FPS kind of gamer. Quick to play any game that has magic, swordplay, and/or stealthy elements. If you can customize a character I'm in it for the long haul. Or just give me your 2D platform and I'm a happy camper. What else do you expect from a gamer with a beard and a bow tie tattoo? Seriously.
