Known as one of China’s heroes, Zhang “Chaoshen” Chaojun has officially been revealed to have joined Team Celestial, which was formed this year by Wang “TiddlerCelestial” Xieyu. This announcement follows long-standing rumors of both a potential signing an Chaoshen’s retirement, as he had expressed throwing in the proverbial towel to focus on his schooling.

The Hearthstone player gained a significant amount of attention with his impressive performance during the Gold Series CN v. NA Challenge event, where he went 3-1 against the 2014 world champion, James “Firebat” Kostesich. While he never made it past the Chinese qualifier for the world championship himself, his competitive and strategic playstyle had various teams clamoring after him.
