If you follow Toby “TobiWan” Dawson on Twitter, you would have seen that Gaming Paradise has been experiencing even more problems and had reportedly been cancelled mid-event. With players’ passports being taken by local police due to miscommunication between the event and hotels, Titanorg players needing hospitalization and teams uncertain if they’ll even be paid it wouldn’t really come as a surprise to anyone if The Gaming Resorts just threw in the towel and told everyone to go home.

This is following their Dota 2 tournament being shut down, game delays due to technical issues and The Gaming Resorts’ CEO reportedly admitting he, “Will probably move down from this position.”

However, I was able to contact The Gaming Resorts and was assured that the event is still running, though there were “Some complications with the venue’s management,” that have since been resolved.
