If you have been waiting to upgrade to the Xbox One, then this Black Friday might be a very good time to do so. The Microsoft blog just released some more information regarding the deals. Prices on the console will be dramatically reduced, games will be discounted with up to 60 percent savings, and don’t forget the Xbox One fans will be able to enjoy Backward Compatibility for more than 100 Xbox 360 titles, including the Gears of War series, Mass Effect and Borderlands.

Here are just some of the deals fans should know about:

From Thursday, Nov. 26 through Monday, Nov. 30 in the U.S., select console bundles will be available starting at $299, the lowest price ever for Xbox One. You can also save $50 on any of these 12 Xbox One holiday bundles

The above deals apply to both online and in-store purchases in the U.S. So even on Cyber Monday you can save.  The deal will be held throughout the entire holiday weekend at a variety of retail locations that carry Xbox One and, of course, on the Microsoft website (which all those links bring you to).

Get Xbox Live Gold for $1.

Xbox Live Gold, is going to be only a dollar. Gold members usually get early access to game deals and save more on many Xbox Store game sales. From today through November 30th, Xbox One or Xbox 360 owners can upgrade to Gold through their console for $1 for the first month of membership. Don’t forget that Xbox Live Gold gives members free Games with Gold titles every month.

I have worked hard to become the COO here at GAW and I love it. I write and stream here and I couldn't be happier. I once had a show that I produced, wrote, and co-hosted called the Wide World of Games. I also co-host a podcast called Party Up! I'm an Action-Adventurer, platformer, RPGer, and FPS kind of gamer. Quick to play any game that has magic, swordplay, and/or stealthy elements. If you can customize a character I'm in it for the long haul. Or just give me your 2D platform and I'm a happy camper. What else do you expect from a gamer with a beard and a bow tie tattoo? Seriously.
