The Pokemon Company has announced a new 3DS Pokemon bundle to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the game.

The bundle includes a 3DS with two cover plates on featuring Charizard and one featuring Blastoise. Additionally the system has the Pokemon 20th anniversary logo and comes pre-installed with Pokemon Red and Blue. Lastly the bundle includes a code to get a 3DS theme.


The bundle will be available through participating retailers on February 27. A price point for the bundle has yet to be revealed.

While this bundle will be available in North America other areas are also getting Pokemon themed systems.

In Europe a 2DS system will be available on February 27. This information came from a tweet from the official Nintendo of Europe Twitter account. Three 2DS systems will be available including Pokemon Red, Yellow, and Blue. 

For those of you who want the games but now a new 3DS or 2DS Nintendo will be releasing Pokemon Blue, Red, and Yellow for 3DS in the eShop on February 27 that can be played on your existing system.
