The wait for Destiny’s 2.2.0 won’t be much longer now, as the nicknamed “April Update” is coming on April 12th with several new things for players to look forward to.

Bungie has made the announcement about the date on their website under the This Week at Bungie section along with several other details. There will be new PVE challenges as well as some updated gear and a new quest. The quest will feature the Bighted Chalice Strike, among many other things.

Bungie had also included an image of three guardians that look similar to the Taken, though further details had not yet been given. The April Update will be included with any purchase of Destiny: The Taken King and is available to be downloaded on April 12th.

If you’re looking for more information, Bungie is planning to give more details over the next three weeks via Twitch. The livestreams will be held every Wednesday from now until April 12th. Details on each livestream are listed below.
