If you just can’t get enough of Bethesda’s mobile game, Fallout Shelter, then Bethesda has some good news for you. The game has received a new update that gives players new customization options for vault dwellers, the ability to scrap unwanted items to build stuff you want, and 3D Touch support for those using an iPhone 6s or 6s Plus.

Bethesda announced update 1.5’s details in a press release. Just some of the new details coming will be:

  • New customization options added to the Barbershop.
  • New outfits can now be crafted or found in lunchboxes.
  • Make your vault dwellers look like ghouls.
  • Scraping old weapons and armor
  • 3D Touch feature

Crafting was added in the previous update, 1.4, however now players  can scrap items you don’t want to turn them into junk, which in turn can then be used to craft new gear for your vault dwellers.

iPhone 6s or 6s Plus users can now utilize their phone’s 3D Touch feature with Fallout Shelter. You can skip the main menu and load directly into a vault, as seen in the picture above. Players can also assign dwellers and access storage by tapping the appropriate room.

Fallout Shelter is available now on iOS and Android devices.

I have worked hard to become the COO here at GAW and I love it. I write and stream here and I couldn't be happier. I once had a show that I produced, wrote, and co-hosted called the Wide World of Games. I also co-host a podcast called Party Up! I'm an Action-Adventurer, platformer, RPGer, and FPS kind of gamer. Quick to play any game that has magic, swordplay, and/or stealthy elements. If you can customize a character I'm in it for the long haul. Or just give me your 2D platform and I'm a happy camper. What else do you expect from a gamer with a beard and a bow tie tattoo? Seriously.
