Psyonix has revealed a new map for Rocket League.

The new map is a bit different than the traditional maps we are all used to playing on. The map is called “Pillars” and adds two walls and lanes to the field which gives an entirely new play dynamic to the game. Psyonix said, “The visual aesthetic for Pillars will continue its tipped hat towards virtual reality, only this time, with a gameplay emphasis on using multiple walls to your advantage. Banking shots off the tall columns in the middle of the arena makes for some incredible moments and driving up the walls and flying down on the competition feels just right.”

The new map will be available in the Rocket Labs which allows players to test prototype arenas. You can take a look at Pillars in the image below.

In other news Rocket League cross-play went live this week for Xbox One and PC.
