An updated version of Resident Evil 5 ha been confirmed by Capcom for release on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The release date for the updated version is June 28th.

Some of the improved and updated features includes 1080p resolution and an improved framerate. There will also be a Mercenaries United mode included, which will be a more arcade style shooting game that challenges the player with chaining kills of zombies together and completing other objectives.

There was a different, more difficult version of Mercenaries called No Mercy, which will also be available in the re-release. Capcom had originally announced the re-release for Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6 fo PS4 and Xbox One with each game costing $20. You can check out the gallery below for some screenshots:

In other news, Resident Evil 7 is suggested to be announced at E3 2016, and has promises to return to it’s roots with a more horror feel.
