While not globally televised to the extent of the media zeitgeist that is Ubisoft, EA, Microsoft and Sony, the long running Kadokawa group, which owns From Software and has published everything from Cowboy Bebop manga to Lollipop Chainsaw held their own event, showcasing a number of games releasing under their banner.

Probably the biggest story to come out of the entire event, the once believed to be lost Project Code: Daten, which was revealed in 2014 but soon disappeared from the limelight leaving many to believe it was cancelled, was shown during a product reel at the end of the presentation, confirming the game for a Q1 2017 release, exclusively on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
