The popular Bethesda mobile app, Fallout Shelter, will be growing in a big way this coming week.

The mobile game has its major 1.6 update coming to fans very soon, there was also a  PC version announced. The update will arrive in three days, according to a tweet a few days ago from the Fallout Twitter account. That would put the release either  at  this Wednesday (July 13th) or Thursday (July 14th), depending on if Bethesda is counting the day of the tweet or not.

Fallout Shelter 1.6 mobile update is a “really big update.” There will be new enemies to defeat, locations to visit, and new characters to add to your Vault. You’ll also be able to send dwellers out on quests, and an “all-new” combat system.

Bethesda has yet to share specifics as of yet, but with the release closing in so soon, we expect to hear more any day now. Although they could just leave it as a total surprise as well. As for the PC version of Fallout Shelter, it remains to be seen what differences, if any, there are compared to the mobile version.

We’ll bring you more information on Fallout Shelter‘s 1.6 update the PC version as it becomes available. So stay tuned to Gamer assault Weekly.

I have worked hard to become the COO here at GAW and I love it. I write and stream here and I couldn't be happier. I once had a show that I produced, wrote, and co-hosted called the Wide World of Games. I also co-host a podcast called Party Up! I'm an Action-Adventurer, platformer, RPGer, and FPS kind of gamer. Quick to play any game that has magic, swordplay, and/or stealthy elements. If you can customize a character I'm in it for the long haul. Or just give me your 2D platform and I'm a happy camper. What else do you expect from a gamer with a beard and a bow tie tattoo? Seriously.
