Don’t put that phone down yet, because a brand new update for Fallout Shelter launched today. Bethesda added new quests and a “special visit” from Fallout 4 Nuka-World amusement park characters Bottle and Cappy. Check them out in the gallery below.

There are “a ton” of new quests now available, which the Overseer’s sending their dwellers out into the wasteland for a variety of “exploration and combat excursions.” The update, 1.7, will also be adding new quest types, including weekly ones (that begin every Friday), special events, and holiday quests.

Here’s Bethesda’s official description concerning the Nuka-World crossover:

“To celebrate the launch of the Nuka-World add-on for Fallout 4, all Fallout Shelter players will receive their first Special Event Quest: a Nuka-World-themed mission which, once completed, allows Nuka-World mascots Bottle and Cappy to appear in the Vault. Tapping on Bottle and Cappy while they visit will reward players with Caps and Nuka-Cola Quantum.”

Additionally, Fallout Shelter‘s 1.7 update adds a “bevy” of new objectives for vault gameplay that give players new ways to earn resources. Stay tuned to Gamer Assault Weekly for more news on updates and for all your gamin needs.

I have worked hard to become the COO here at GAW and I love it. I write and stream here and I couldn't be happier. I once had a show that I produced, wrote, and co-hosted called the Wide World of Games. I also co-host a podcast called Party Up! I'm an Action-Adventurer, platformer, RPGer, and FPS kind of gamer. Quick to play any game that has magic, swordplay, and/or stealthy elements. If you can customize a character I'm in it for the long haul. Or just give me your 2D platform and I'm a happy camper. What else do you expect from a gamer with a beard and a bow tie tattoo? Seriously.
