Even more has been leaked for Overwatch’s Halloween Terror patch that is coming up. None of this has been officially released, but has been leaked on overpwn.com.

To start things off, the new loot box animation has been leaked. The new loot boxes will most likely function as they did durinig the summer games patch this past summer celebrating the Olympic Summer Games.

There are also 12 new skins that are coming with these loot boxes. The skins are for the following characters:

  • Ana
  • Bastion
  • Hanzo
  • Junkrat
  • Mercy
  • Pharah
  • Reaper
  • Reinhardt
  • Roadhog
  • Soldier 76
  • Symmetra
  • Zenyatta

There are also a few notes that the leak mentions. The new brawl will feature Junkrat as Dr. Junkenstein, and apparently, “He’s going to get his revenge!” These are the rules of the game:

  • Heroes: Ana, Hanzo, McCree, Soldier 76
  • Only 1 of each hero per team
  • No hero switching
  • Keep the castle doors from being destroyed

It also mentions that the game mode will run from October 11th to November 1st.

Again, this is all leaked information not officially stated by Blizzard. So take it with a grain of salt.

More leaks for the upcoming Halloween skins for Overwatch. Despite Blizzard not yet announcing the update officially we’ve had so many hints that there will probably be little surprises to be had when they get around to it.

Earlier new loot boxes appeared on the Xbox Live store, revealing the Halloween Terror Event ahead of time. Overwatch’s official Taiwanese site briefly featured a splash screen with an image of Roadhog dressed as Frankenstein’s Monster and Junkrat as a mad scientist. It also featured on October 12th release date, which would mean that the update goes live tomorrow.

It’s obviously since been removed from the site, but interestingly enough the date featured in the image may actually be too far away. On Blizzard’s PCbang boards, a portal intended to give news about upcoming updates to internet cafe users, a post revealed that a patch will actually be released on 3am Korean Time, 12th of October. This would be 11am PT and 8pm CEST on the 11th of October. The post also reveals that the patch is 1.74GB in size. This would mean the update will actually today, very soon.
