This weekend, starting today (11/11), Steam is offering a couple of free games to play, and now they just announced another one. The tactical first-person shooter, Squad, is available to play for free until Sunday, November 13th, at 1 PM PT.

If you end up loving it, and want to keep playing past its free promotion, Squad will be discounted for $20. You will also be able to purchase the soundtrack for $3, which is down from $6. If you just want it all, both can be purchased in a bundle for $22. It’s also worth noting that Squad is currently in Early Access. You can install and start playing it here.

Other games available for free this weekend include another tactical FPS, Rainbow Six Siege and the racing game, Dirt 3. Siege will also be free until Sunday at 1 PM PT, and if you want to keep playing past that, it’s discounted to $25. Dirt 3, on the other hand, is part of a giveaway on the Humble Store until November 12th at 10 AM PT, but once you claim your free Steam code, you’ll get to keep it forever.

Will you be playing any of the three? Tell us in the comments below. Stay tuned to Gamer Assault Weekly for all your gaming needs.

I have worked hard to become the COO here at GAW and I love it. I write and stream here and I couldn't be happier. I once had a show that I produced, wrote, and co-hosted called the Wide World of Games. I also co-host a podcast called Party Up! I'm an Action-Adventurer, platformer, RPGer, and FPS kind of gamer. Quick to play any game that has magic, swordplay, and/or stealthy elements. If you can customize a character I'm in it for the long haul. Or just give me your 2D platform and I'm a happy camper. What else do you expect from a gamer with a beard and a bow tie tattoo? Seriously.
