Pokémon Sun/Moon launches on November 18, but leaks have revealed the list of Pokémon exclusive to either Sun or Moon. If exclusives help you decide which version you’ll be sticking with at launch, here’s what you should know.

Pokémon Sun will feature:

  • Passimian
  • Tortunator
  • Lycanroc Midday-Forme
  • Alolan Vulpix and Ninetails
  • Solgaleo
  • UB-02 Absorption

Pokémon Moon will feature an equal number of exclusives.

  • Oranguru
  • Drampa
  • Lycanroc Midnight-Forme
  • Alolan Sandshrew and Sandslash
  • Lunala
  • UB-02 Beauty

There’s seven Pokémon unique to each version, who you’ll need to trade with friends for in order to catch ’em all. Choosing the right version for you will mean having to weigh your preferences.

Between the exclusive Alolan forms, Sun‘s Vulpix and Ninetails and Moon’s Sandshrew and Sandslash, which do you choose? Or, between the two versions of the second Ultra Beast (UB-02), who do you prefer? Some of these exclusives may sway your preference.

With the exception of Europe, Pokémon Sun/Moon will launch worldwide on November 18 for 3DS. EU region players have a slight delay, as the game will launch on November 23 for them.
