Bethesda has confirmed that their popular title Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim will be released for the Nintendo Switch.

Executive Producer Todd Howard confirmed the news during the Nintendo Switch presentation. It was speculated that the game was being made for the system as it was included in the original launch trailer for the system in 2016.

Players can now take the world of Tamriel anywhere they go with the Switch system. Howard said, “What’s really exciting for us at Bethesda is to finally work with Nintendo. The switch is both classically Nintendo and something new, and we are honored to be a part of it.”

Details on what version of Skyrim will be available for the Switch were not shared. Though it is speculated that it is a port of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition. A release date was not revealed.
