Mass Effect: Andromeda continues to deliver on exciting new details after officially confirming a March 21 release date yesterday. At NVIDIA’s CES 2017 Keynote, BioWare took to the stage and unveiled a brand new trailer.

Until now, Mass Effect: Andromeda’s gameplay has been a mystery. Promotional materials have mostly stressed the cinematics and teases at the plot, so some of our only footage of the gameplay comes from the 4K PS4 Pro teaser. However, BioWare’s latest trailer might be our best look yet at the gameplay.

The CES 2017 trailer showcases how the series’ combat will look in Mass Effect: Andromeda. As soon as the Tempest, the game’s ship, lands, the trailer shows a menu layout that’d be familiar to fans: a revamped Skills menu, where you can level up and gain skills for Ryder and the squad. Astute viewers might also notice the other returning classes from previous Mass Effect titles. Here, we get a peak at the Engineer class and its tech-based skills.

The trailer shows you what the game’s battles will look like, which should be familiar to series fans. You’ll be able to watch the combat the way it will be experienced: the full HUD with health bars, skill cooldowns, squad mate statuses, and all.

The video ends with the message, “Captured in engine. Representative of game experience.” Like what you see? The trailer’s a good indicator of how the game will play, and so far, it looks just right.

Mass Effect: Andromeda will launch on March 21, 2017 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Currently, EA and BioWare stated that there’s no plans for a Nintendo Switch release. However, producer Mike Gamble offered a statement that they didn’t want to “close doors like that.”
