Minecraft: Switch Edition has been confirmed to release on Nintendo’s newly revealed system.

The game was speculated to release on the system in 2016 and has been confirmed as the Minecraft: Switch Edition. The game is currently available on consoles and mobile devices and seems to be a good fir for the Nintendo Switch. In Minecraft you can “create your very own game world to explore, build and conquer. When night falls the monsters appear, so ensure you’ve made yourself a shelter before they arrive. Make it through the night and the world is only limited by your imagination you choose what you want to make or what to do.”

This isn’t the first time Minecraft has teamed up with Nintendo. In early 2016 the game received a Super Mario mashup pack that turned the game into a Mario themed wonderland for the Wii U.

Additional details including a release window has not been revealed for the game.

The Nintendo Switch will release on March 3 for $299. Find all of our Switch coverage here!
