On Facebook, Nintendo is sharing some new artwork getting us ever more excited for the upcoming new installment in The Legend of Zelda series, Breath of the Wild. While there’s still no solid release date on the title, Nintendo has been releasing a steady stream of information about the title since they dedicated their E3 Treehouse Stream to it.

The first piece of art was posted to celebrate the New Year, and it’s an image of Link kneeling before the sunset on the horizon, as 2016 sets on the horizon as well. It’d make a great desktop background, I think.

"I don't know how to get down from here".

The second image released is what looks like concept art of one of the sentry enemies. This one is wielding frightening looking knives, because apparently one knife isn’t enough to ruin your day with, it needs six crazy laser knives to cut through those hearts.

This is the latest in a number of images released on the Facebook page, including a very cute Christmas image showing the little hut all done up for the holidays with Wolf Link poking his head out the window. You can find all of these here.

More information on Breath of the Wild could very possibly be around the corner, with the Nintendo Switch Direct set for the 12th of January possibly having some info on the game and very hopefully a (close) release date. Breath of the Wild will be releasing on Wii U and Switch sometime in 2017.
