For those of you still flying through Galactic Space playing Star Trek Online and thwarting Romulan plans (or actually playing as Romulans you weirdos) on console, Perfect World Entertainment is giving you another free DLC to look forward to, or should we say backwards to? That’s right, Agents of Yesterday will take you back in time to hang out with the crew of the Original Series of the USS Enterprise.

Agents of Yesterday recruits you, the Star Trek Online captains, to become time-traveling agents to save the future by protecting the past. This will be the biggest time traveling adventure since Doc and Marty went back to 1985 or Dr. when Who travelled back to Pompeii. Star Trek fans will have a blast from the past taking on the 23rd century.

“Players will create a captain from Star Trek: The Original Series and fly one of several 23rd Century ships, including the classic Enterprise, Constitution-class starship.”

As fans play through each new episode, they will interact with some truly iconic characters voiced by some of their beloved Star Trek actors, including Chekov (Walter Koenig) and Scotty (which will be voiced by Chris Doohan, son of the late, great James Doohan). As well as some new faces that enter the past with you, Temporal Agent Daniels (Matt Winston), Admiral Leeta (Chase Masterson) and cyborg crewman 0718 (Joseph Gatt).

“The console update will also feature a new specialization tree, new special task force missions and content from the Artifacts update, including the K-13 Fleet Holding, new weapons and bridge officers.”

As if fate handed you a great reason for you to download the Agents of Yesterday DLC, Fans can look forward to the 100% free-to-play MMORPG on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on February 14th. If you don’t play yet, why wait for the new DLC, get your hands on the free Star Trek Online right now . To download and play Star Trek Online today for free, visit

I have worked hard to become the COO here at GAW and I love it. I write and stream here and I couldn't be happier. I once had a show that I produced, wrote, and co-hosted called the Wide World of Games. I also co-host a podcast called Party Up! I'm an Action-Adventurer, platformer, RPGer, and FPS kind of gamer. Quick to play any game that has magic, swordplay, and/or stealthy elements. If you can customize a character I'm in it for the long haul. Or just give me your 2D platform and I'm a happy camper. What else do you expect from a gamer with a beard and a bow tie tattoo? Seriously.
