Welcome back, Swery65. Swery65, developer of quirky cult classics like Deadly Premonition and D4: Dreams Don’t Die, returns to gaming development after an extended break from development due to health concerns. He’s back, and with a new company he founded in Osaka, White Owls Inc.

Last October, he retired from his company Access Games. He was diagnosed with reactive hypoglycemia, a condition that causes low energy following carbohydrate or simple sugar rich meals, during the development of D4: Dreams Don’t Die.

He Tweeted the news just last night. In addition, a new page for White Owls Inc. has gone live, and you can check it out here.

Swery65 hasn’t announced details about White Owls Inc.’s projects or if they’re currently developing a project right now. Regardless, glad to see he’s back- the gaming industry can always use a quirky mind around like his.
