Activision and Vicarious Visions has been hard at work to bring the Crash Bandicoot trilogy to the PS4. It was announced E3 this past summer and got new footage around PlayStation Experience, but no release date was set: until now.

The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will launch on June 30 this year. According to Polygon, this remaster will cost only $39.99.

The N. Sane Trilogy features the first three Crash games: Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot: Warped. The remaster’s gameplay was rebuilt entirely from scratch, and the original level geometry was faithfully redone from Naughty Dog’s original work.

Features from later Crash games have been implemented into the earlier ones, like Time Trials and better save systems being incorporated into the first game. To learn more, check out our write-up about the trailer and screenshots revealed at PlayStation Experience 2017.

Finally, if you can’t get enough Crash, Activision’s latest blog answers a number of fan questions about the remake? Is it a remaster or a remake? Why remake the soundtrack? If you’re curious to know, the blog is worth a look.
