Larian Studios’ latest update to Divinity: Original Sin 2 brings two new schools available to all players. Now, you can choose to learn Summoning and Polymorph skills. These new options will give you terrain-based magical familiars or the ability to sprout wings and horns.

With the Summoning skill tree, you can conjure up Incarnates and totems to “make life a living hell for opponents.” Incarnates and totems have varying powers depending on the terrain surface you summon them on. You can amplify their powers on the battlefield by infusing them with magic.

Polymorphs are a class inspired by nature and various creatures. The Polymorph skill tree allows you to “take some of the best and worst aspects of other creatures and puts them to combat use.” Grow wings and fly over surfaces. Or, sprout horns and gore your opponents!

The Summoning and Polymorph schools were a Kickstarter stretch goal. Backers voted for various skills they wanted to see in the game, and the Summoning and Polymorph schools made it to the top. Now, you can check them out in game.

Larian Studios offered two videos to highlight the classes. One offers a gameplay trailer, while the other shows Larian Studios founder Swen Vincke giving a detailed talk about the two new classes.
