Players of the Mass Effect: Andromeda EA Access and Origin Access trial have been taking the piss out of the character animations in the game. Apparently, the character animations have been on the janky side.

Don’t believe me? Take a look.

For now, we’ll be stuck with animations as is. Mass Effect: Andromeda‘s lead designer, Ian Frazier, took to Twitter and stated that the day one patch is already implemented into the EA and Origin Access trial versions of the game. If you’re expecting Day 1 fixes, you’re out of luck.

Frazier confirmed that at later dates, we’ll see patches to iron out the game. However, it’s still being negotiated what these updates will address.

Hopefully, animation fixes will be on the agenda. It would be an impossible task to fix all of the animation problems, because the game’s sheer scope is large. Bioware had previously stated there were over 1,200 speaking roles in the game, meaning a large amount of facial animations and NPCs to possibly deal with.

Bioware and EA will likely address the problem in the next Mass Effect: Andromeda updates to come. In the mean time, though, we’re having a blast with the memes.
