Fox News spoke with Nintendo of America COO Reggie Fils-Aime about the future of gaming and Nintendo’s successes with the Switch. During the interview, Reggie got to talk about Nintendo’s plans at E3 this year. Let’s just say there’s going to be good news for the Switch and 3DS at E3 2017 this year.

Nintendo’s E3 last year was focused most of its attention of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. New announcements were few and the Switch wasn’t ready to be unveiled yet. However, Reggie promises a different narrative this year.

“We look at each E3 as a unique opportunity to tell our story. And we’re gonna have a big E3 this year,” Reggie spoke. He continued:

We’re going to be showcasing a variety of games. We will have experiences for… consumers will be able to attend the show for the very first time. So I’m not gonna tell you all of the various games and all of our little secrets for E3, but I can tell you that E3 is going to be a major opportunity for us to showcase not only Nintendo Switch, but also content coming to Nintendo 3DS.

It’s only natural, of course. Nintendo has lots of games to announce at E3 if they really want to hype up the Switch’s library. During the interview, Reggie also pointed out the 3DS- reminding 3DS users that they won’t be forgotten about, and that games are still coming for it.

So, there you have it. Is your body ready for this year’s E3? For those of you attending as consumers, look forward to what Nintendo will offer E3 2017 attendees at the show.
