Head of the studio Eidos Montreal, David Anfossi, has responded to the rumors on whether they’re making a new Thief game or not. He responded to the picture that started the rumor quite hilariously, but at the same time dashed our dreams of the reboot happening at all. He sarcastically states, “Apparently we’re developing Thief 5 game! So now we have a title… We just have to build a team, a budget… forget it!

Eidos Montreal celebrated their 10th anniversary as a studio back in February. They became famous for their launch title, Deus Ex, in 2007. Since they were acquired by Square Enix in 2009 they have been pumping out games that have had massive success. Some of these titles include Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Tomb Raider, Rise of Tomb Raider, and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. You can check out their full history on their website!
