Today Ubisoft has revealed an updated version of the company logo and gave fans a look at its evolution over the company’s history.

Starting in 1986, Ubisoft explains that the logo was inspired by ’80s style, which is very apparent. However, with its growth and overall direction in games the logo shifted to represent what the publisher was focusing on. In a blog post, Ubisoft says it’s new look represents the worlds they create with their video games, movies, comics and more stating, “with this new look, we proudly embrace our role as a creator of worlds and invite you, the players, to continue playing, engaging, and growing with us.”
