Activision and Sedgehammer Games have given us a glimpse into the new multiplayer mode for Call of Duty: WWII. Headquarters mode is a social space for players to wonder around in friendly trenches, engage with each other, and compete in different challenges such as 1v1 Pit. You can also watch Call of Duty esports matches live in the Theater.

On a personal note, I think this is exactly what the Call of Duty franchise needed. It’s a new and refreshing way for players to be able to engage in multiplayer instead of the same lobby system we’ve seen since its introduction.

Call of Duty: WWII will be available on November 3, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Let us know if you’re excited for this new system.
