The recent Animal Crossing Nintendo Direct gave us the worldwide reveal of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, Nintendo’s next smartphone title. Here’s what you should know about the new game.

In Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, you can experience a pocket-sized lite version of the Animal Crossing villager life. This time, you’ll be the manager of a campsite. Isabelle makes an appearance in this title as your assistant, once again.

Various villagers from the series will come visit your campsite. Craft furniture, amenities, and other fun items for your animal friends to interact with! You’ll be able to befriend villagers by adding their favorite furniture items to your campsite. So, build the best campsite you can!

That’s not all, of course. You’ll be able to explore various recreation areas in the game. Catch bugs, go fishing, and harvest fruit! Collect interesting goods and fulfill different villagers’ requests.

If you collect various materials from quests, you’ll be able to create different furniture and amenities. The alpaca handyman Cyrus will make these items for you. So, take on lots of quests and explore the game’s recreation areas!

The game will feature a micro-transaction system, set up by the always clever entrepreneur Tom Nook. Leaf Tickets can be used to substitute for materials you lack. So, if you’re having trouble finding that item you need for that furniture you really want, you can use a Leaf Ticket instead! Leaf Tickets can be found for free, but you can pay real-life money to earn more.

And of course, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp wouldn’t be an Animal Crossing game without home decorating. In this game, the player can decorate the inside of their campsite RV. Customize your camper with the crew at OK Motors, a new set of Animal Crossing characters named Giovanni, Carlo, and Beppe.

The game also will have multiplayer features. Different players will randomly show up in your game. Visit their campsites and buy from their marketplace! Adding players as friends will let you visit their campsite at any time. You can also register friends by exchanging friend codes.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will release in late November for Android and iOS.
