Something unexpected happened at the Nintendo World Championship this year.  Thomas G and  John Numbers went head to head in the final competition, a demo of Super Mario Odyssey, along with a boss battle to top it all off.

All that’s shown in the footage below (from XCageGame).  Mario’s new ability will be integrated into new puzzles, as well as traversing creative new levels. In part of one of the levels we see Mario take over a bullet bill in order to traverse a long obstacle, now that’s cool!

What other ways do you think Nintendo well let Mario traverse obstacles and explore? Let us know what you think! Super Mario Odyssey is set to release on October 27, 2017, for Nintendo Switch.
