After the recent backlash against Star Wars Battlefront II, causing the removal of the system after Disney’s intervention, CD Projekt RED was asked by Pretty Good Gaming about the future of Cyberpunk 2077. The developer responded with an alleviating statement for those who love single-player games.

According to the developer, they would provide a huge single player, open world, and story-driven RPG similar to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

This shouldn’t come as a surprise since CD Projekt RED’s last project, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, is still regarded as one of the best games of this generation. The excellent example of single-player, 2 massive DLC campaigns, large updates that added new content to the game for free, and an extensive story-rich world is constantly praised by the community for delivering an experience rare from video games today.
