Between the transition of console generations for the Assassin’s Creed games, Ubisoft released 2 games: one for Xbox 360 and PS3, and another for Xbox One and PS4. The current generation one, Assassin’s Creed Unity, released with a myriad of glitches and problems that required extensive patches to fix and the other was Assassin’s Creed Rogue. Instead of having players play as an Assassin, Rogue had gamers in control of a Templar, and now it’s getting remastered.

The new version of the game will include 4K resolution, higher-resolution textures and shadows, improved environmental rendering, and new visual effects, making its sprawling wilderness and Arctic icescapes even more impressive.

The new edition also packs in all of the original’s downloadable content and expansions, including two bonus missions – The Armor of Sir Gunn and The Siege of Fort de Sable – as well as the weapons, outfits, and customization items in the Master Templar and Explorer packs. It also includes a new bonus: Bayek’s legacy outfit from Assassin’s Creed Origins.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue is the first adventure to feature a Templar instead of an Assassin. Assassin’s Creed 3 allowed players to briefly control a Templar, without the player’s knowledge, showing that the barrier between the Assassins and Templars is much more transparent than it appears.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered launches on March 20th for Xbox One and PS4.
