Bethesda has just announced that the newest DLC pack for The Elder Scrolls Online, titled Dragon Bones, will be released in February. Dragon Bones will add new dungeons called Scalecaller Peak and Fang Lair to Bethesda’s MMO. Each new dungeon will be available in both normal and veteran modes, have a veteran hard mode boss, and contain enemies new and old whose mission is to bring about “the deadliest plague Tamriel has ever known.”

Dragon Bones‘ release will coincide with the launch of Update 17, which will add the outfit system to the base game. The outfit system will allow players to customize their character’s appearance, regardless of the gear they have equipped. The update will also bring two new battlegrounds to the table, called Mor Khazgur and Deeping Drome. However, to access these knew battlegrounds, you have to already have the Morrowind expansion.

Home storage, a new level-up system, and a skills advisor tool will also be added to the game with Update 17, the latter of which will “help you make wise, more engaging decisions about character advancement and provide you with suggestions on your character’s build and use of gameplay mechanics.”

The Elder Scrolls Online: Dragon Bones will be available to ESO Plus members for free and will be available for purchase on the in-game store for all other players. Update 17’s additions to the game will also be free for everyone.
