Unlike the Xbox One and PS4 versions of Monster Hunter World, the PC version is releasing on a separate date. However, Capcom has provided a rough estimate of the PC’s release date.

In a new video Monster Hunter’s official Twitter account (below), World producer Ryozo Tsujimoto provided an update on the PC version’s status.

“We’re working hard on it right now and aiming for an Autumn 2018 release. We’ll update you with more details later and thank you for your patience.”

For those yearning for a PC copy of Monster Hunter World remember the PC release of Batman: Arkham Knight? Perhaps Capcom doesn’t want to experience a monumental issue like that. Giving extra time for developers to ensure a polished game is best for everyone.

Monster Hunter World is set for a January 26th release on Xbox One and PS4.
