If you were distracted by all the Nintendo Direct announcements, you probably overlooked another major story: Fortnite is going mobile. Epic Games and People Can Fly’s insanely popular free-to-play battle royale title is coming to Android and iOS devices.

According to a blog post from Epic Games, you can now sign-up for the Invite Event on iOS platforms starting Monday, March 12th. Android support will be coming in a few months. To participate, players will need an Internet connection and iOS 11 on their an iPhone 6S/SE, iPad Mini 4, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, and iPad 2017 devices.

Those who sign up will receive email invites allowing you to download the game from the App store. Invite codes will be provided for you to send to others. Epic will add more players on a month to month basis.

Epic has confirmed that cross-platform and cross-progression play between PS4, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android devices will be made possible. You can play with friends across multiple platforms, no word on Xbox One support.

Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode is already a massive hit and heading into the mobile market will cause this game to new heights. All they need is a Nintendo Switch port and they’ll be unstoppable.

Fortnite Battle Royale is available now in early access for Mac, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and is set to launch for iOS and Android devices soon.
