It has been one year since the release of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on Steam Early Access. Since it’s release the game has hit several notable milestones including selling more than 7 million copies on PC, reaching 5 million players on Xbox One, and releasing on mobile devices. To celebrate PlayerUnknown Brendan Greene, CH Kim, and the PUBG Corp team released a ‘Thank You’ video.

Additionally, PUBG Corp. has given us a first look at the new 4x4km map that was announced during the 2018 roadmap. The new map will allow for an “intense and faster paced Battle Royale experience.”  The map will have a higher player density which will lead to intense shootouts and shorter matches. The new 4x4km map, which has not yet received a name, will arrive on the Experimental Test Server in April.
