Hand of Fate 2, the dungeon crawling, tabletop roleplaying, collectible card game has rolled out a brand new mode for fans to play through. A new Endless Mode has been announced and released for players on the PC. That is not all that Defiant Development has up their magical sleeves though. They also announced new DLC throughout the year in forms of new companions and challenges.

Endless Mode will actually offer more competitive players a chance to battle for the top spot on leaderboards. The challenges before them are replayable quests that will get progressively difficult with each level, so it becomes a game of ‘How far did you get?’ to which other players can mock you until you do better (In a good way of course, please don’t mock people).

“More difficult enemies are shuffled into the dealer’s deck and random pain or curse cards are dealt upon completion of each stage.” Defiant has thrown in some goodies to kick off the event as well with new adventures, collectible token shards, enemies, and narrative branches to the core encounters. This is to make sure that “no two dungeon runs are exactly alike.”

PC gamers can enjoy the new Endless mode for free right now. Unfortunately, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners will be dealt in next month. Hand of Fate 2 is currently available for $29.99

I have worked hard to become the COO here at GAW and I love it. I write and stream here and I couldn't be happier. I once had a show that I produced, wrote, and co-hosted called the Wide World of Games. I also co-host a podcast called Party Up! I'm an Action-Adventurer, platformer, RPGer, and FPS kind of gamer. Quick to play any game that has magic, swordplay, and/or stealthy elements. If you can customize a character I'm in it for the long haul. Or just give me your 2D platform and I'm a happy camper. What else do you expect from a gamer with a beard and a bow tie tattoo? Seriously.
