Microtransactions are not only part of multiplayer games; they’ve invaded single-player titles such as Assassin’s Creed, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and Middle-earth: Shadow of War for months before the announcement of their upcoming removal. So, you can’t blame gamers for being on the defense when a new single-player game is being released like Spider-Man.

If you’re wondering how Insomniac will handle microtransactions in Spider-Man, Insomniac’s Creative Director of Spider-Man, Bryan Intihar, answered the question about microtransactions being part of the game with a “Hell no”.

This wasn’t the only information Intihar revealed. He explained that the game will run at 30fps on both PS4 and PS4 Pro.

Spider-Man launches exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on September 7, 2018.
