During the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 reveal stream today, Treyarch has announced an all-new game mode for the Call of Duty franchise. Black Ops 4 will feature Blackout, a CoD inspired take on Battle Royale genre. While we got a long look at Multiplayer and Zombies at the reveal stream, Blackout was only teased.

We do know that Call of Duty’s Battle Royale will feature characters from every Black Ops game and mode, Zombies characters, campaign figures and even the new specialists were all present in the reveal teaser.

Characters are not the only Blackout feature pulled from franchise history, as David Vonderhaar gave details on the Blackout map. The map will be 1500 times larger than Nuketown and will be built from fan-favorite multiplayer maps and campaign stages.

Blackout mode will be available when Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 launches worldwide on October 12th.
