E3 2018 is only a few weeks away. It’s there that the biggest publishers and developers of the video game industry will reveal new projects, never before seen footage of their upcoming games, and more. As you might guess it’s prediction time, here are our predictions for E3 2018.

Death Stranding Gameplay

We haven’t seen any gameplay footage for Death Stranding but we have been teased by Sony and Hideo Kojima that production is moving quickly. Sony already has major games in development, The Last of Us Part 2, Days Gone, and Spider-Man PS4, but since we’ve only been shown trailers if Sony were to drop gameplay it’ll be at E3 2018.

Cyberpunk 2077 Reveal

This is almost a certainty. CD Projekt RED has confirmed they will be at E3 2018 to unveil a new “RPG” and the studio has stated they’ve dedicated a lot of resources to this project. Also this year the studio has been teasing the project’s reveal more than any other time since its confirmation. If CD Projekt RED doesn’t provide footage of the game in some form that would be a shocking, followed by me falling into a state of depression.

Square Enix Provides a Release Date for Kingdom Hearts 3

Like The Last Guardian, Duke Nukem Forever and Final Fantasy XV Kingdom Hearts 3 has been in development for nearly a decade. It skipped over the last generation, with Square Enix only releasing small titles such as Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance. However, leaked release dates all state that the game is releasing this fall and Square Enix has been providing more information as of late than any other period of its development. Showcasing gameplay, worlds, and more.

Nintendo Unveils Gameplay for Super Smash Bros. Switch, Pokemon Switch, Bayonetta 3, and Metroid Prime 4

Nintendo’s most anticipated games are listed above. Other than small teasers, or in the case of Pokemon rumors, we have relatively little information about any of these 3 games and seeing that Nintendo intends to keep the momentum of the Nintendo Switch from slowing any 1 of these games will continue the Nintendo Switch’s upward thrust.

Microsoft Provides a Release Date for Crackdown 3

Crackdown 3 is Microsoft’s long-awaited exclusive. After the delay, many worried it would end up like Scalebound but Microsoft has been reassuring fans that it’s still in development and will release eventually. Considering that Sea of Thieves is facing an uphill battle as of now Microsoft needs a strong exclusive for their console.

Bethesda Reveals Doom Sequel and Prey DLC

Like many of you, I am hoping that Bethesda unveils The Elder Scrolls VI but it has been debunked multiple times by marketing boss Pete Hines stating that Bethesda already has several big projects before the sixth installment in the Elder Scrolls franchise releases. This shouldn’t come as a surprise given each game’s incredible size and varied gameplay. However, Bethesda has an array of other titles to show off such as Doom and Prey.

Prey is more likely since Bethesda has been teasing gamers with pictures of the moon. We could see an expansion release similar to Dishonored: Death of the Outsider that features a separate campaign.

As for Doom, content updates have stopped and all the DLC is available to everyone for free, which means the developers behind that game could be working on a new installment.
