The most popular highlights on the Xbox One are the backward compatibility feature and the Xbox Game Pass. The latter gives subscribers access to hundreds of Xbox One and Xbox 360 games for $9.99 a month, complete with achievements. However, like all services, things are added and removed over time. 21 games will be leaving the service by the end of May.

The following games will be removed from the service by the end of May.

Xbox One

Defense Grid 2

Blood Bowl 2

Xbox 360

Age of Booty

The BioShock trilogy

de Blob 2

Borderlands

Dead Rising 2: Case Zero

NeoGeo Battle Coliseum

Dig Dug

SoulCalibur

Final Fight: Double Impact

SEGA Vintage Collection Golden Axe

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising

Bionic Commando: Rearmed 2

Pac-Man Championship Edition DX

Bound by Flame

Sacred 3

SEGA Vintage Collection Alex Kidd & Co.

XCOM: Enemy Within

The reason behind the removal wasn’t disclosed, but it’s likely that the games were offered through the service for only a specific amount of time as agreed by the original publisher. When the time is up, the games are removed, similar to shows on Netflix.
