We’ve known that Bethesda‘s had The Elder Scrolls VI in the works for some time, but they had been too early planning to show off anything. Now, Bethesda is confidently ready to tell you that it’s coming.

The announcement only takes through a wide panorama of the game’s world and shows a very Elder Scrolls-like musical overture. The game is, after all, entering its first production stages.

Here’s Bethesda’s official statement about it: “Currently in pre-production at Bethesda Game Studios, the acclaimed developers of Skyrim and Fallout 4. The highly-anticipated next chapter in the iconic The Elder Scrolls series.”

There’s no telling when it’ll release. However, given that their new IP Star Citizen is projected towards a next-generation console release, The Elder Scrolls VI may be further into the future as well.

In the mean time, you can enjoy this video of Todd Howard poking some fun at himself. Bethesda tries to sell you Skyrim yet again… on Amazon Echo, Etch A Sketch, and refrigerator.
