Leading up to Sony’s E3 2018 presentation, the company has been releasing new information about their upcoming plans with the first being Tetris Effect. Afterwards, they’ve announced a title coming to the PS4 and PSVR that is in development by the people who made Lumines. Now Sony has revealed that Bend Studio’s Days Gone will release on February 22nd, 2019.

In addition, a new trailer was revealed showcasing new information about the game. A cult called Rest in Peace was revealed who worship the freakers, going as far to dress as them and mutilate all survivors not part of their cult.

Bend Studios also revealed along with other survivors players will encounter wildlife such as infected wolves and ravens but also normal animals such as bears and cougars. In a short glimpse we also see a bear running away from freakers showing the animals have their own set of behaviors.

Days Gone releases on February 22nd, 2019 for PS4.
