Released back in 2013 as Defiance the new revitalized Defiance 2050 is set to bring the science-fiction shooter to the modern generation. Giving players multiple ways to play and build their own character.

The graphics are the first thing you’ll notice. With smoother textures, eye-popping visuals, and better framerate thanks to the increased power. In addition, players will have access to a new class system that gives players greater control over their customization options, offering unique abilities that can be swapped at any time. Coupled with a massive array of weapons and players can find anything to fit their play style.

This a collaborated experience, with difficulty scaling based on how the location, event types, and player count. Anyone can join but raids, which are highlighted on the map, will be more contained. With players being scaled to the difficulty so you cannot power level friends.

It’s clear that the developers of Defiance 2050 are going to accessibility. Giving players the chance to try and play as they want without much of an issue. Microtransactions are available but I was told by the developers that the game can be played without them. Limited them to cosmetic items.

Defiance 2050 launches on July 10th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. You can check out more screenshots below.
