The Elder Scrolls Blades is a brand new Elder Scrolls game from Bethesda, revealed at their 2018 E3 showcase. Being able to play The Elder Scrolls on the go is an interesting development for the series.

Players will be a member of the Blades, an ancient order of warriors. The player character is forced into exile and returns to their hometown to find it decimated. The player will need to restore their home to its former glory. The Elder Scrolls Blades will be played via a first-person perspective and can be played in either landscape or portrait mode, per the player’s preference and can be switched in real time by rotating your device.

Bethesda is promising console quality graphics, magical spells, a vast assortment of gear to collect, upgradeable skills and real-time combat. Combat will commence via tapping the screen to attack, block and cast magical effects. Players can explore the environment by either tapping or use virtual analog sticks.

Players will be able to rebuild their hometown as they see fit. For seasoned Elder Scrolls fans, the battle arena will be present for players to prove to all of Tamriel that they are the ultimate Blade warrior by besting other real-world players.

The Elder Scrolls Blades will release, free to play,  in the Fall of 2018 for IOS and Android devices. Pre-registration is now open. Players who pre-register between  Sunday, June 10 and Friday, June 15 will have a chance to be a part of The Elder Scrolls Blades early access program and may also receive an exclusive sword and helmet.
