Fallout 76 will not have traditional NPCs and instead focus on multiplayer with an online multiplayer. However, while the game will be saturated with human players there will be a limit on how many can be in 1 server.

When speaking to Noclip in their documentary about the game Jeff Gardiner revealed that the current build supports 24-32 players. It was also confirmed that players will see other players on the map.

While this number may disappoint players it may be to limit the amount of damage other players can cause. To prevent or limit griefing and ensure player encounters are limited.

Fallout 76 launches on November 14th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
